Our main goal is to develop computational tools that fundamentally advance engineering, biology and medicine. We seek to disseminate these tools as widely and freely as possible. Further, we need to build these tools so they can be run in the biology lab, without the need for a dedicated engineering team to be colocated with every microscope.

We have recently set up a GitLab server to manage the software tools being developed in the lab. GitLab is a fantastic resource for the software development process.
